Reiki (Usui Teate)

Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing that is performed fully clothed – and can be performed either hands on or totally hands off depending upon the clients preference.

As the practice of Reiki has spread around the world in the last 100 or so years, the techniques have changed and adapted – the style that we mainly teach at Natural Self is a form which blends both traditional Japanese Reiki and energy techniques with more adapted or modernised Western techniques so that you can use skills which are the best of both words and most appropriate for your own clients.

Below are 4 levels of Usue Teate Reiki We Teach:
Level 1 (Self Healing)
Level 2 (Healing Others)
Level 3 (Reiki Master)
Clinical Reiki Is an upgrade from Reiki Master to be able to practice at the NHS Standard. This is currently under work.

Reiki Level 1 – Self Healing

Reiki Level 1 is about accessing our own energy and rebalancing your body to remove blockages or issues which stop us from being healthy in mind, body and spirit.

Level 1 helps us to understand what reiki is, where it comes from, how to increase the positive flow of energy within us and to release negatives which hold us back.

Reiki Level 2 – Healing Others

Reiki Level 2 is practitioner level for the healing of others.  Reiki as a healing system does not specifically look at how or why the body is misfunctioning, it simply work on rebalancing the body and mind to the best version of the client that they can be.

Reiki 2 teaches a number of different tools and techniques to work with issues and problems as well as basic business practice skills to enable people to establish their own practice if they wish to do so

Reiki Level 3 – Reiki Master

Reiki 3 is for those people who have already completed and have experience of working with clients at level 2  – we generally recommend at least a one year gap or a minimum of 50-100 client hours before taking this level.

At Reiki 3 level you obtain the title of Reiki master – learning more advanced skills and the process of how to attune and train others in the practice of Reiki.   Many people who do not wish to go on to teach also take this level as it helps them to strengthen their connection to themselves and improve their flow of healing for the healing of themselves as well as others.
